Awakening Presence: mindfulness

For OMs, Mitras and FWBO practitioners who have a regular meditation practice and are familiar with the seven-fold puja

This is a meditation retreat that uses the body and breath sensations as a starting point for a more open awareness. It will encourage a more integrated sense of ourselves, as we become more fully based within our physical experience.

We will take our guidance from the Satipatthana Sutta and the Anapanasati Sutta: turning towards our experience and deepening our mindfulness with receptivity and precision. Within that deepening mindfulness we may find an 'awakening presence'!

The retreat will include gentle body movement, periods of silence and opportunities for individual meditation reviews.
