Talks

Over the past few years we’ve been recording talks, led reflections and led meditations at Taraloka. Most of them are given on retreat here. Some are talks given on other occasions like the FWBO International Festival or Sangharakshita’s visit to help inaugurate our Tara shrine-cabin. Gradually this archive of talks is being uploaded to Free Buddhist Audio where you can find our own Taraloka talks’ page. Many thanks to Candradasa at FreeBuddhist Audio for hosting all the FWBO/WBO /Triratna archive.

But we think it’s also good to be able to point you directly to particular talks here on this website. That’s what this page is for. If we have a talk that’s particularly related to one of our retreat themes, we’ll add it here.

We’re going to open this section with a short talk that Sangharakshita gave when he dedicated the Tara shrine-cabin here in 2007. Also added is the talk he gave on the FWBO International Sangha retreat here last May. And a conversation with Mahamati which was filmed for the WBO Convention in Bodh Gaya in February 2009. These two are videos so you can watch as well as listen.
