Body Witness
Led by Singhagupta and Dhammagita
8th - 15th September
A meditation and bodywork retreat that pays attention to the life stories and wisdom our bodies hold; helping us to share, articulate and embody our experience. It
is a gentle, individual and collective enquiry into what calls us from the deep; from our own histories and from the archetypal. We will use a mixture of meditation (working directly with the body
in stillness and movement), reflection and ritual to explore our experiences. This synthesis will enable us to find ways of enhancing and embracing our lives by becoming our own body witness.
Dhammagita has a background of art and shiatsu training and a wide experience of bodywork as both a therapeutic and awareness tool. Sinhagupta is a senior trainee psychotherapist with the Karuna
institute and a founder member of Crucible Research, a group introducing awareness as a therapeutic tool in our daily lives.
