Everything is subject to change and ending, including the Wheel of the Buddha's Dharma. Wisdom is lost and we practitioners of the Dharma misunderstand its pristine essence.
When this happens someone has to turn the wheel of the Dharma anew for his or her own times and conditions. Nagarjuna and others turned the Wheel for a second time and systematised the Perfection of Wisdom tradition. It happened a third time with the emergence of the Mind-Only School of Vasubhandhu and the Yogacarins.
It happens on a small scale in us…. when we need to dispel doubts and bring something anew to out own practice. The retreat opens the doorway into reflecting on our own practise of wisdom by looking at Pratitya samutpada (Conditionality); Sunyata (Madhyamika); Mind-only (Yogacara)
