'View, Meditation, Action' forms a
well-known perspective on Dharma practice. At Taraloka we are using this framework to describe our retreat programme for 2006.

Sangharakshita says: The View is the fundamental, basic philosophy. Not a philosophy in a purely
intellectual or academic sense, but the foundation of a particular spiritual path, a particular school or a particular tradition. Meditation represents the application of that View, but then Meditation has to be
worked out in a detailed manner, by you in your actual, concrete, individual situation and that constitutes the Action.

|
VIEW
'First of all you have the View, your basic spiritual outlook upon life, your "philosophy"'. (Sangharakshita)
There are 2 Profound View Retreats led by Kulaprabha and Saddhanandi
|
MEDITATION
'After View we have Meditation: the broad application of View.' (Sangharakshita)
In 2006 we are running 19 meditation retreats, providing a wide choice for all levels of experience.
|
ACTION
'Meditation has to be worked out in a detailed manner, by you in your actual, concrete, individual situation and that constitutes the Action.' (Sangharakshita)Here is a wide range of retreats involving activities like yoga, singing, study and devotion, providing you with opportunities to broaden and deepen your experience of Buddhist practice.
