Who was the Buddha? What is the ‘ism’ – the truths he taught and path of practice he began - and how is it relevant to all our lives no matter how they are or who we are?
There are many varieties of Buddhism and Buddhist practice. Some are strongly coloured by other cultures, and some can seem very esoteric, complicated, strict, confusing or even scary from the outside. But the basics are shared by all and are about acknowledging constant change in the world and ourselves, learning to see clearly how we can best work with the reality of how things are and being more at ease with life and ourselves.
