Wild Heart - Living World 2022
If we are to care for this fragile world then it matters that we make time to cherish it. We can learn from other living beings: allowing our heart to open to the silver song of a robin; letting our bones settle in the still presence of an oak tree. On this retreat we will spend silent time in nature – our outer landscape - and also explore meditation - sitting still with our inner landscape. We will use writing to help us deepen our appreciation of inner and outer worlds, and song and mantra to find points of connection and resonance between us. In this way we can begin to cultivate a more vivid, alive, relaxed awareness, one that brings us into a more loving and respectful relationship both with ourselves and the living world; one that is saturated with a sense of mystery and beauty.
No previous experience of meditation needed - just curiosity to learn something new, and a willingness to step out into rain or sun.
