Kusaladevi met Triratna in Nottingham in 2006 and was ordained at Akashavana in 2015. She worked for the Karuna Trust for a number of years, in fundraising and training others to fundraise as a spiritual practice; the practice of transforming self and world. She is now the chair at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre. Kusaladevi’s name means ‘Goddess of Skilful action and merit’ and she deeply values connection with others as a way of exploring the alchemy of Dharma practice. She is especially inspired by Padmasambhava and the transformative power of Metta.
