A study and meditation retreat, based on Subhuti’s book Mind in Harmony.
Sometimes our minds can feel complex or confused, and it’s hard to know what’s going on. Sometimes we know what our mental states are - but how do we work with them? Mind in Harmony gives us a spiritual map of the contents of the heart and mind - a practical toolkit to bring clarity, awareness and kindness to our experience.
A handbook on Buddhist psychology for anyone seriously interested in getting to know and transforming their minds, Mind in Harmony is based on the Abidharma and is informed by Sangharakshita’s commentary on the same material Know your Mind.
On this retreat, through short talks, discussion groups, meditation, ritual and silence we will be:
- Relaxing and taking our practice of mindfulness and loving kindness deeper
- Exploring what we find in our minds
- Finding out more about the families of mental events that occur in the mind and how to work with these creatively.
Before the retreat please read Subhuti’s Mind in Harmony.
