Ethics and Safeguarding
Dear Retreat Leaders & Supporters, and Taraloka Community,
Thank you so much for offering your time and energy to make Taraloka retreats happen. We really appreciate your dana, and so will all the women on those retreats.
We need you to:
- read a Summary of Taraloka’s Safeguarding Policy (five pages). We have tried to make it as practical and reader-friendly as possible.
- read Taraloka’s Ethical Guidelines (four pages).
- Sign an online register to say that you have read both documents, and consent to abide by them.
Thank you so much!
Although under 18s are not permitted on Taraloka retreats, please be aware that Taraloka also has a Child Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct available here. The full Adults Safeguarding Policy is available here.
If you have any questions or want to discuss the policy or ethical guidelines, please do get in touch with Maitrisiddhi (Safeguarding Lead) or Maitridevi (Chair of Trustees)
